This Golf Outing serves as a fundraiser for the Huron Valley Officials Association (HVOA), an Ann Arbor–based, MHSAA-approved organization dedicated to the recruitment, training, and retention of high school sports officials.
HVOA supports officiating in football, basketball, wrestling, baseball, and softball, and many of our members have advanced to officiate at the collegiate and professional levels, including the NFL and WNBA.
Funds raised from this event directly support:
- Training and educational programs
- Facility and meeting expenses
- Technology and assigning systems
- Ongoing operational costs
While our approximately 125 members pay annual dues, this fundraiser allows us to keep those dues among the lowest in the state.
As part of the outing, we are seeking:
- Door prize donations, with a goal of providing one for each of our ~100 golfers
- Hole sponsorships from local businesses
- $100 for one hole
- $150 for two holes
These contributions play a vital role in the success of our event and the continued strength of our association.
